Soundcraft
LX7II 32 CH

Picking Up Where the Predecessor Left Off

The Soundcraft LX7 console was highly successful and its legacy continues on in the LX7II. Building upon the LX7’s rock-solid reliability, the LX7II offers improvements in audio specifications and also borrows some classic design elements from the Soundcraft MH3 and MH4 touring consoles. Easy to use, durable, and with the legendary sound quality that’s made Soundcraft relied on by audio professionals worldwide, the LX7II is perfect for touring bands and small venues.

Equipped with the G30 Series

Electronically, the LX7II includes a Soundcraft GB30 Series mic-preamp and EQ section, both designed by Soundcraft founder Graham Blyth. The 4-band EQ features swept mid sections and is modeled after the highly-acclaimed EQ in the MH3 and MH4.

"The GB30 mic pre on the LX7II brings together the quality and precision of the mic pre's we use on our biggest touring desks, whilst retaining the cost-sensitivity demanded at this point in the market," reports Blyth. "We’re conscious that we must provide the best possible audio quality at the best price for the customer—we do not allow compromise—and it starts at the mic preamp.

"The GB30 EQ, owing its heritage to the work we did on the new MH range, gives a steeper than usual slope on the fixed LF and HF sections, removing unwanted mid-frequency 'mush' and delivering a clearer sound. We've a unique, cost-effective design that brings high-end EQ into an affordable mixing console for the first time."

Inputs and Outputs

Other standard features of the LX7II include frame sizes up to 32 mono inputs and four stereo inputs/returns with four groups, main stereo output and a dedicated mono output for centre clusters. There are direct outputs on the first 16 inputs suitable for multitrack recording, and six auxes for flexibility, effects and foldback. The LX7II mixes to seven outputs—four subgroups, plus the main Left, Right and Centre (Mono) mix outputs.

Ideal for Small Venues and Performing Acts

Continuing the tradition of the LX7, the LX7II is highly successful in live applications, including performance PA, installed systems in houses of worship, theatres and similar applications that rely on a compact sized console to provide a large number of inputs and maximum output capability.

AMP203
The AMP203 is a revolutionary mini stereo amplifier, featuring network input through Dante™ or AES67 providing a complete media networking solution to distribute uncompressed audio via standard Ethernet networks with near-zero latency, while allowing all other data to be connected on the same network.

Various DSP functionalities are implemented in the AMP203. This allows all configurations to be made in AUDAC Touch™ 2 or via RS485 and Ethernet, making it a fully-fletched 2 x 30W amplifier. The output connector has been implemented using a 4-pin terminal block connector, featuring an output power of 30W per channel and 60W when bridged.

Using PoE (Power over Ethernet) this extremely power-efficient amplifier receives both power and signal through a single networking cable, this way flexibility is maximized while needed cabling is kept at a minimum.

The compact convection cooled enclosure eliminates any humm or buzz otherwise caused by a fan. Various optional mounting brackets are available like the MBS1xx series, which allow it to be mounted under a desk, in a closet, on the wall, on top of a dropped ceiling or to a 19" equipment rack. This proves that the AMP203 is the perfect solution for compact to medium-sized applications in corporate, hospitality or retail environments.

Decentralize your system

Thanks to the multifunctional use of the AMP203 in combination with the AUDAC Touch™ 2 app it is possible to create a decentralized multi-zone system. By simply connecting the AMP203 to the local network and connecting the loudspeakers, a new zone can be introduced to your system.

MFA208
This revolutionary award-winning amplifier is designed as a two-channel amplifier using class D amplifier technology. It can be used for powering low impedance stereo systems with a maximum power of 2 x 40 Watt, while bridging to a constant voltage (100V and 70V) is possible with a maximum output power of 80 Watt. A switch-mode power supply allows a wide variation of main voltages for global compatibility.

The integrated SourceCon™ module* slot allows the implementation of any available compatible module, offering a true all-in-one solution. Typical applications are the implementation of an audio streaming module or internet radio module. Additionally, a stereo line input allows connection for any kind of external audio sources.

A balanced mic/line input allows connection for an announcement microphone with compatibility for condenser microphones using the integrated phantom power supply (15V). A priority switch overrides the background music when enabled and compatibility with line-level sources (e.g. voice file players) is guaranteed by wide gain adjustment (0 dB ~ +50 dB). This gain adjustment controls both the sensitivity of the line inputs on the rear as on the front. Thanks to the 2.8” TFT display and the push rotary dial on its front, an unmatched user experience is achieved.

Please pay attention the RCA input is combined with the line input at the back of the device, meaning the rear input is disabled when the front input is in use.

A line out connection at the back of the device is making the device even more versatile. This line out can be used as a preamp output, where the input and volume are the same as the internal amplifier or as a separate secondary stereo zone output, where both zones (inputs, volume control, and many more..) can be operated completely independently of each other.

A priority mute contact on the back of the device mutes the music at the presence of a contact closure between both terminals. Priority enabled on mic-in overrides the muting, allowing emergency announcements or voice messages.

The MFA series are both RS232, RS485 and TCP/IP controllable allowing implementation with home & industrial automation systems and peripheral devices. Using the freely available AUDAC Touch™ 2 application, control and configuration can be done from any portable or non-portable device on any location and at any time.

Desktop installation or mounting in an equipment rack using the MBS310 series mounting adapters is possible. The half 19” rackspace enclosure allows single installation in a 10.5” equipment rack, or side-by-side (two devices) in a 19” equipment rack.

When installed the (optional) ANI44XT Dante™ audio network interface, music from the installed SourceCon™ module or connected line input signal can be shared throughout your Dante™ audio network to other compatible devices or amplifiers. Using Dante™, you can even play priority messages with near-zero latency (100ms) to the audience.

*SourceCon™ modules optionally available. MFA series does not come pre-installed with one of these modules.

*MFA series is expected to be compatible with TouchLink™ from January 2021.

*NOTE: The powers shown for low impedance stereo mode may look strange to be equal for 4Ω, 8Ω and 16Ω loads, however these figures are true and correct. The output voltage is increased at higher load impedances to guarantee the maximum output power is achieved. These figures are depending on a correct output setting configuration in the ‘Settings’ > ‘Amplifier’ > ‘Output’ and ‘Output type’ menu.
